A developer with interest in modern Javascript frameworks and scalable, modern software stacks. Moving into software development from project management brought with it a broad set of skills across the whole project delivery cycle. This high-level understanding of delivery processes and a keenness to produce quality, reusable well written code can prove invaluable within teams aiming to meet or exceed project goals within strict time and budget constraints.

I did continue with some Project Management work to provide an additional income stream while I was finding my feet. This has given me an opportunity to work on a wide variety of different projects and sites including -
I have had help from one of my former colleagues, both with finding work, and receiving training while I have contracted for him, which has got me up to speed with version control in git (Github), css preprocessors (SASS), writing structured CSS with BEM, and php templating and components within the wordpress development environment.

I also have an ex-racing greyhound (Fred) and enjoy spending time out in the countryside with him.
We (Kate and I) have a second property in County Durham and are currently renovating it. We have nearly finished the kitchen so only 6 more rooms to go!
